2. We need a new heart
   1. We may witness God's mercy and remain unchanged
   2. Jonah witnesses God's power and mercy, yet refuses to change
3. We need a new life of obedience
   1. It does not do any good to have "regeneration" take place and then to go on sinning
   2. We are called to submit
   3. God gives us chances to be obedient
   4. If you struggle to obey, don't give up
